Från ovan visas en skärgårdsmiljö, som i ökande takt täcks med blå rök. På marken syns människor, men det går inte att tolka deras reaktioner, eftersom avståndet är för långt. Verket präglas av en dubbeltydighet, där element kombineras på ett oväntat sätt. Skärgårdsmiljö och rökbomber möts och framstår som tagna ur sina vanliga sammanhang. Skärgården saknar harmoni och idyll, rökbomberna saknar läktarkultur och sport. Betraktaren sätts i en förvirrande situation och tvingas ut ur sin trygghetszon. Inspelningen är gjord med drönare och estetiken kopplas till teman som övervakning och social kontroll. Ljudet i verket bidrar till en upplevelse av oro och fara.

From above we see an archipelago setting, increasingly covered by blue smoke. On the ground, humans can be seen, but it is impossible to interpret their reactions, since they are so far away. The work is characterized by ambiguity, combining elements in an unexpected way. The archipelago setting and the smoke bombs clash, removed as they are from their ordinary contexts. The archipelago appears without harmony and idyllic qualities, the smoke bombs appear without supporter culture and sport. As viewers we are put in a confusing position, forced outside of our comfort zone. Carried out by drones, the recording’s aesthetics are associated with surveillance and social control. The audio contributes to the experience of anxiety and danger.
