Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera are one of the most famous couples in art history. Their eventful marriage is mythical.
While she was relatively unknown during her own lifetime, Frida Kahlo’s status has risen meteorically during recent decades, whereas Diego Rivera’s once highly acclaimed oeuvre is less well-known today.
The exhibition included around thirty important works from the artists’ production as well as photographs from their time. Apart from the images from the exhibition, the catalogue contains articles by Isabella Nilsson, Annika Nordin and Eva Zetterman.
